This was part of our traveling plans in Turkiye. We traveled in the Dogu Express from Kayseri to Kars for 24 hours (distance of 773 km). Scheduled duration was  19  hours. The trip took more time than expected because of the rain in few places along the rail lines. For record the train started from Istanbul. During the day time of the ride the scenery was fantastic - the reason people choose to travel this fashion.  Ticket price at TLR86 (RM24) for standard seat. We purchased it using app TCDD ebilet. Waited and took a bus from Cappadocia Goreme terminal to Kayseri. Ticket  60TLR/pax (RM16)  Bus departed at 130 pm.  Arrived Kayseri bus station at 3:00pm. We then booked again another flight  for the following day. We filled in the free time walking to nearby   Göreme Open Air Museum  (1.8 km as per Google map). Turned out to be tiring walk as the road condition was not  flat as expected. Upon returned to the hotel (by taxi) we were fetched to atv place for another thrilling ride. Ticket TLR350/car.(RM94) Came back to the hotel around  2:30 pm and rested until late evening. Then walked out again for dinner outside in the town. Came back to hotel at 10:00 pm praying next balloon flight would be permitted. It was such a fascinating experience to see  beautiful early morning Cappadocia. We planned to do our balloon ride on next day of our stay in Cappadocia. Today we joined  (Green Tour) tour group to visit places in Cappadocia. It was a guided tour of 15-pax group in a van. Paid TLR630/pax (RM220) for this package. We traveled and walked  through various landscapes and structures in Cappadocia Overall it was very good activities  for the day. Highly recommended. Distance around 400 km. It was about  8 hours on a bus ride. After checked-out we waited for a local bus outside Pamukkale hotel to Denizli Otogari (city bus terminal). It was 20 minutes away. Purchased bus tickets (Denizli - Konya) at the terminal. Then we had lunch at a terminal restaurant until about departure time at 1:00pm. Bus ride was  comfortable and  scenery of villagers and farms  along the country road was very beautiful. Bus made few stops at rest areas and bus terminals before arriving at our  destination. ...
